Terms of Use

Last updated: 16 June 2025

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of dmacedu.in and the services offered by DMAC - Dhruv Medical Admission Counselling(“DMAC”, “we”, “us”). By using the Website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our services

DMAC provides guidance and counselling for NEET-based medical and dental admissions, including assistance with COMEDK, KEA and CET CELL processes for courses such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS and BPTh. We help with eligibility assessment, college shortlisting, registration, document preparation, choice filling and deadline tracking.

2. No guarantee of admission

Admissions and seat allotments are decided solely by the relevant authorities and colleges (such as COMEDK, KEA and the CET CELL) based on your NEET score, category, seat availability, applicable rules and the choices you make. DMAC does not control these outcomes and does not guarantee admission, a particular college, course, seat, fee or rank. Our role is to guide you through the process.

Because the outcome is not ours to decide, not receiving an admission or a preferred seat is not by itself a ground for a refund. Please see Section 6 (Refunds & cancellations).

3. Information accuracy

College information, fees, seats and counselling timelines change frequently and are published by the respective authorities and institutions. We make reasonable efforts to keep information useful and current, but you should always verify critical details (fees, dates, eligibility) with the official source before acting.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Submit genuine documents and meet authority deadlines
  • Make your own informed decisions on college and course choices
  • If you are a minor, use our services with parental involvement

5. Fees

Our service charges are communicated to you transparently before you engage a paid service. Government and college fees are separate and payable directly to the respective authorities or institutions. Refund terms are set out in Section 6.

6. Refunds & cancellations

The initial consultation is free, so no refund arises for it. For paid plans, how much is refundable depends on how much of the service we have already delivered when you ask to cancel — not on the calendar date, since counselling timelines shift every year.

Deduction of the Basic Guidance fee. Complete Guidance includes everything in Basic Guidance. So if you cancel or downgrade a Complete Guidance plan after the Basic component has been delivered, we deduct the Basic Guidance fee published at the time you enrolled and refund the balance.

No refund for outcomes. As explained in Section 2, admission, college, course, seat and rank are decided by the counselling authorities and colleges. Not securing an admission or a preferred seat does not entitle you to a refund.

No refund where deadlines or guidance are not followed. If incorrect or incomplete information or documents are provided, an authority deadline is missed, or choices are filled contrary to our written guidance, the fee is not refundable.

Government and college fees. Amounts paid to COMEDK, KEA, the CET CELL or any college are not received or held by DMAC. Their refund is governed entirely by the rules of that authority or institution, and DMAC cannot process or intervene in those refunds.

How to request a refund. Email admission@dmacedu.in with your name, plan and proof of payment. We will confirm our decision within 7 working days, and any approved refund is paid to the original payment method within 10–15 working days.

7. Intellectual property

The DMAC name, logo, content and design are our property and may not be copied or used without permission.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DMAC is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for outcomes determined by third parties such as counselling authorities and colleges.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Maharashtra, India.
